The Horror Explorers are celebrating busy December with very short reads: children’s horror! Choose your own child or teen horror book or series and come discuss! Our meeting will be full of nostalgia & laughs and YOU’RE INVITED!
If you want in on the “Secret Satan” (lolololol) gift exchange, sign up here ASAP! https://forms.gle/rpBWJHughWMWpftbA We’re using elf names as aliases just in case anyone is worried about too much info going on the Internet. It’s just for funsies if you choose to participate. Nobody is obligated to. THANK YOU Mike for organizing this!
Join us in the Speakeasy Room (ground level) at Torg Brewing in Spring Lake Park! We’ve reserved the creepy basement for a gift exchange & children’s horror discussion Sunday, December 14th at 5pm. Torg is not charging us for the space, so please support their business! Beverages available upstairs & readers pay their own tabs. Torg offers beer, seltzers & non-alcoholic options. They do not have a kitchen but sell pre-packaged pretzels & cookies. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
Parking is FREE in marked spaces in their lot, all along the fence + building to the north. Additional parking is also available at the back of Chet’s Shoes.

If you enter thru the Accessible Entrance, you’ll have to go around the upper level, then down the steps into the basement/ground level. They have 2 doors. If you don’t see our room right away, we’re prolly the other door lol

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: our free lil horror book basket! Take a book, leave a book & share the love of horror with the club!

Horror Explorers Book Club info:
We're a group of horror readers in the Twin Cities that discuss books in the horror arena. Come to the ones you can, or if you're intrigued by the book choice! Each month's books are selected ahead of time, to give our members a chance to request their preferred format into their home library. Everyone is welcome to attend; finishing the book is NOT a requirement to visit!! No static location/date/date, but we DO rotate locations so nobody always has to drive the furthest. We vote on meeting dates by majority rule.
If you know someone who might be interested, but is not on Facebook, we are also on the BookClubs app platform. Feel free to join or invite your friend:
