Horace Gifford is well known for his minimalist coastal architecture, but he also possessed a surprising eye for found and decorative objects. Christopher Rawlins, author of Fire Island Modernist: Horace Gifford and the Architecture of Seduction, moderates a panel of two Gifford homeowners: Anthony Hadaway of M. Alexander Showroom and artist/sculptor James Perkins.
A book signing of the new, expanded edition of Fire Island Modernist will follow this event.
