Self-described as “your favourite trio’s favourite trio,” inVENT is a dynamic new woodwind group bringing together three of Toronto’s leading musicians: flutist Sophie Lanthier, clarinetist Marc Blouin, and bassoonist Kevin Harris. We are dedicated to exploring the rich and varied world of wind trio repertoire, presenting programs that span diverse musical styles and eras. With a special passion for contemporary music, inVENT is committed to highlighting works by living composers and sharing fresh, vibrant voices with audiences. Our performances balance precision with playfulness, artistry with authenticity, and just the right amount of glitter.
