We're really pleased to welcome David and the Devil to play at Hoodoo.
‘Roots, Folk and Acoustic Delta Blues reimagined’
A night of live blues and DJed music till midnight.
At Hoodoo we love to dance to blues music, but whether you are here to dance, or just to enjoy the music we'd love to see you there.
Unlike our usual night, we won't be running a dance class, but will be offering an afternoon dance workshop for experienced dancers.
🕖 Schedule:
Doors Open: 7:15 PM
First set: 8-8:45 PM
Second set: 9:15-10 PM
Event ends - Midnight
📍 Location: Find us downstair at The Globe, just a short walk from Newcastle Train Station.

By Public Transport: Close to Newcastle Train Station.
By Car: There is some free street parking close to the venue as well as car parks nearby (Times Square, covered carpark, NE1 4AD).

🩰 What is Blues Dancing? Blues dancing developed alongside blues music. It’s a relaxed, improvised partner dance with roots in African-American culture. It's all about connection, creativity, and the joy of movement. Check out this example:
