Returning to Peace, Love and Reverence for our earth, our ancestors, our family, and ourselves... remembering: who you are, where you came from and what your soul requires to be nourished and thrive. ?✨️
We will open the space around 7pm,
Allowing a brief amount time for people to arrive, settle in, socialise, and purchase a Ceremonial Cacao and/or Blue Lotus and Mugwort Tea if you feel like it. Between 7 - 7:30pm will be the best time to purchase hot drinks, to assist you with relaxation and revitalising your senses. Awakening heart and mind to higher vibrations. ?✨️ (plus the kitchen may be closed for most of the duration of the event).
In ancient traditions, especially in central and south America, theobroma cacao also know as cacao/chocolate translates to "Food of the Gods" in Latin.
In meso-america, it would be treated respectfully as a medicine with many health benefits, including its nutrition profile as well as the way it would make them feel more alive & connected the spirit of the plant which would guide them. In cacao ceremonies across the earth, the ancient tradition is said to be a ceremony, where ceremonial dose would be drank, so that we may open our heart and connect with our ancestors. ??
We will have an opening introduction before opening space for prayers, invocations, devotions, and then guided meditation and a short sound journey. We will then take a few minutes breaks for integration, before opening up the space for live music from our special guests Ezekiel (@slimboyzeke), Spiral (Yolanda, Noodle, An Tone & Connah)(@spiralfolk) and the amazing Moon Rivers. ?✨️?✨️?✨️
Honour our ancestors, loved ones, spirit guides, angels. This may come in many forms, it could be wearing symbolic coloured clothing, jewellery, adornments, or bringing a nostalgic treat which represents a sentiment. There will be a candle lit altar setup at the back of the ceremony room for you to place a photo or item to show your offering. Your offering can be placed there for the duration of the ceremony and then be taken away with you after the closing ceremony. ?
We may even have time for a dance at the end.
A mysteriously transformational time of the year, yet so full of recorded lore from far and wide. Known as Halloween, Samhain, Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the dead. Festival of the Dead or Feast of Ancestors is held by many cultures throughout the world in honor or recognition of deceased members of the community, generally occurring after the harvest in August, September, October, or November. In many cultures a single event, Festival of the Dead, lasting up to 3 days, was held at the end of October and beginning of November; examples include the Peruvians, the Pacific Islanders, the people of the Tonga Islands, the ancient Persians, ancient Romans, and the northern nations of Europe. The country of Mexico celebrates Día de Muertos from October 31 to November 2.?✨️
