About this Event

Aboriginal Counseling Services of Alberta (ACSA) and Bissell Centre invite you to a heartfelt gathering to honor and remember Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).

Join us Friday May 8, 2026, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, for a day of reflection, ceremony, and community connection, featuring:

Guidance from an Elder and Sacred Fire Ceremony
Sharing & Healing Circle led by Stephanie Harpe
Tobacco offering
Traditional dancing by Feather and Dallas Arcand
Singing and drumming by Adrian Goulet
Artwork by Feather
Red Dress art exibit in honour of MMIW
A Remembrance Wall to honour lost loved ones and invite their spirit

Enjoy a community lunch as we come together to relect, remember and honour the lives of MMIW. ❤️
On-site support will be available

Native Counselling Services of Alberta will be present, offering space for individuals to connect, speak and receive support throughout the day.
