As many of you know, our brother The Rev. Canon Jerry Shigaki, who we lost unexpectedly in October of last year, was the enthusiastic champion of a Seattle Walk to End Alzheimer's Team that has been fundraising and walking for the last few years. For several of us, walking with Jerry in 2023 was the last time we were with him, as he passed several days later. For Jerry, the walk was in support of his sister, Irene, and he was the largest fundraiser on the 2023 team, eclipsing the rest of us by a lot! In 2024, we'd like to take the torch from Jerry, gathering a bigger team and raising as much as we can to honor his memory while contributing to an organization committed to finding a cure for Alzheimer's. Will you join us on Saturday, September 28? The walk begins by the International Fountain at the Seattle Center.
