Mark your calendars for the fourth annual celebration of the legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., taking place on Monday, January 20 at 6:30pm at the Rockford Community Cabin. Our presenter will again be Julian Newman, founder and CEO of Culture Creative, based in Grand Rapids. Julian is the author of “Beautiful Together: How to Become a Better Leader & Bridge Builder”, which offers a timely message of belonging and community in a polarized world.
Dr. King spoke about the “urgency of now,” and now more than ever, we need to come together and embrace our shared humanity. Let’s learn how to be Beautiful Together in honor of his legacy.
This annual program is brought to you by the Friends of the Krause Memorial Library, The Krause Memorial Branch of KDL, and the Rockford Area Community Foundation, and is hosted by the City of Rockford.
