About this Event

Honoring HER: The Power of 100

Honoring Our Roots. Embodying Our Truth. Rising With Intention.

You are formally invited to attend Honoring HER, a Women’s History Month luncheon designed to gather 100 women in one intentional and inspiring space.

On Saturday, March 28, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mt. Zion Church of Baltimore (3050 Liberty Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215), we will come together to celebrate legacy, leadership, and the sacred power of women in community.

This year’s gathering carries profound significance. Just days after our event, Rose Marie Baxter will celebrate her 100th birthday. She and her sisters are the inspiration behind this experience. During the luncheon, she will receive a 100-Year Legacy Award, presented by her daughter, Yvette Carter-Brown, honoring a century of resilience, wisdom, and grace.

Throughout the afternoon, we will weave together the pillars of HER:

Honoring Our Roots.
Embodying Our Truth.
Rising With Intention.

Guests will experience:

  • Inspiring speakers
  • Intergenerational recognition and awards
  • Intentional community-building activities
  • A beautifully curated meal prepared by Chef Eula McDowell of The Big Bean Theory (vegan options available)
  • A formal, elegant atmosphere centered in connection

Attire: Purple Requested

We invite each guest to wear something purple; whether an accessory or your full ensemble.

Historically rare and once reserved for royalty, purple symbolizes nobility, creativity, wisdom, mystery, and spirituality. It represents the balance of strength and serenity; with the fire of red grounded by the calm of blue.

On this day, we wear purple as a collective statement:
We honor the women who came before us.
We embody our present truth.
We rise with intention, together.

Registration is limited to 100 women.

We look forward to welcoming you to this powerful and meaningful gathering.

Your Presence Makes a Difference

Proceeds from today’s luncheon directly support the continued growth of the HER Series, both online and in person. The HER Sister Circles, led by Divayogi, Michelle Stafford and Sarah Wallace, offer intentional spaces for women to gather, reflect, and rise together through guided journaling, gentle yoga, breathwork, and meaningful dialogue.

The principles of the HER program are simple and powerful:
Honor your story.
Embody your truth.
Rise in clarity and courage.

Through structured reflection, accessible movement, and community accountability, women strengthen their voices, deepen self awareness, and build supportive connections that extend beyond the circle.

When you invest in HER, you are investing in sustainable spaces for healing, empowerment, and collective growth. You are helping to ensure that women continue to have a place to pause, process, and move forward with intention.

Thank you for being part of the rising.
