About this Event
Join the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (MVA) and the Warrior Heritage Foundation (WHF) for a special Black History Month film screening at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall.
This free community event will feature a screening of the documentary Black Uniform, which explores the experiences, contributions, and legacy of Black service members whose stories are often overlooked in the broader narrative of military history.
The evening will include opening remarks, a screening of the film, and a post-screening reception with light refreshments.

Black Uniform is a documentary passion project created by a Los Angeles–based producer and entertainment attorney, highlighting the service, resilience, and historical impact of Black Americans in uniform.
