About this Event
During the CERT Community Meeting we’ll discuss CERT HAZMAT Awareness. In the CERT Level I Class we learned basics of Hazardous Materials. We learned the Rule of the Thumb, if you can't cover the incident with your thumb, you're too close. On Wednesday, February 25th we'll review Chapter 6 of the CERT Manual. The first 30 volunteers will get a DOT Emergency Response Guide to practice HAZMAT Identification and to determine the proper reaction. This training is available to all.
