Welcome to the Honor the Road They Traveled: Keeping the Legacy Alive event! Join us at The Hedge Bistro located on the grounds of the Western Turnpike Golf Course in Guilderland, NY. Mark your calendars for October 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM (Eastern Time) to celebrate the journeys of those who came before us by honoring those who have put forth their efforts to preserve the Rapp Road Historic District. This year the Rapp Road Historical Association will honor four people who have worked to preserve the Historic District: Dana Wright and Shantel Destra for producing “North to New York: The Great Migration in NY's Capital Region” documentary on the Historic District, Juanita Nabors second generation descendant and original RRHA board member, and Andrew Shultz for his efforts to ensure property was conveyed to the RRHA.
