About the Mission:
Jose Roberto Campos, a Vietnam Veteran, served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps for over 20 years, attaining the rank of Major. During his time in service Major Campos was a helicopter pilot and earned many commendations to include: the National Defense Service Medal, Air Medal (30th award), Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Commendation with 3 Stars, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Stars, and the Presidential Unit Citation. After retirement from the Marine Corps, he worked for the Onslow County Sheriff’s Department.
