Honeybee 101: Soccer Ball Candles
All Honeybee Centre workshops kick off with a short, engaging educational presentation about honeybees and beekeeping.
In this session, we’ll focus on beeswax and start the conversation about the fascinating world of sustainable harvesting, hive life, and how bees turn nectar into golden wax. Think of it as your pre-game warm-up, getting you ready before you head onto the “field” to create.
After Gatorade, orange slices, and a quick halftime-style lesson, guests will pour their very own soccer ball–inspired beeswax candle. No experience needed — just bring your team spirit and we’ll coach you through every step.
By the final whistle, you’ll head home with a handmade candle that’s a total goal. 🕯️⚽
