Celebrate Pollinator Week with a Honey Bee Hive Tour!Our hive tours take you into the world of the honey bee. Learn how the bees live, what the queen does, the jobs of the worker bees, how they raise their young and how they make delicious honey. A truly unique experience!
What's included:
-A presentation on what to expect to see in the hive, safety dos and don'ts.
-Bee suits and protective gear are provided.
-A tour of one or two hives showcasing hive structure, the various jobs of the worker bees, finding the queen and possibly tasting honey straight from the hive.
-Tons of fun and the opportunity to take some great pics!
Our hive tours are available to kids 10+ with accompanying parent.
