Born and raised in a small town outside of Springfield, Missouri, Av Freeman has been steadily releasing music online since 2021. As honestav, Av shares personal tracks dealing with addiction, loss and healing informed by a blend of indie-folk, hip-hop, and pop influences. In the midst of a meteoric rise, Av Freeman exudes a relatability and truth that has procured a quickly growing, loyal fanbase and a label deal with Open Shift/gamma.
