THE SHOW :
“Isolation is the worst of evils for humankind,” Aristotle once said.
HOMME ALONE is a show performed by Romain ZED that sits somewhere between stand-up comedy and an introspective monologue / one-man show.
Drawing from his own personal story, Romain ZED turns lived experience into a humorous lecture, using laughter as a way to observe the world we live in — giving the show an almost sociological edge beneath the jokes.
Through self-mockery and sharp caricature, he explores the growing individualisation of society and the quiet loneliness that comes with it. On stage, he portrays a young man who is alone, self-aware and slightly awkward, trying to fit in and find his place in a world that feels increasingly disconnected.
Behind the scenes, Romain has carefully curated the show with the advice and research of professionals who specialise in today’s loneliness epidemic.
Moving between big laughs and more introspective moments, HOMME ALONE offers a tender, empathetic look at modern life, where you laugh first… and then realise you recognise yourself.
