HOMESICK - A Street Performance"I want you Nature, with your storms, your thunder, your heat, and cutting cold. I want to be reminded of your power and your unpredictability. I want you, but I am paralyzed."
In Malta, where do we go?
HOMESICK is a movement performance that addresses Malta's lack of green spaces and what that does to us. While often being surrounded by concrete, traffic, and development, do we still crave connection to the natural world?
This performance explores that tension through a multidisciplinary movement performance.
About the Performance:
Written and directed by Diellza Ilgner, HOMESICK represents the fulfillment of a deeply personal dream. As a person with disability, Diellza finally steps into the performance space as a dancer.
Choreographed by Luke Bugeja Gauci, this movement piece weaves together bodies, stories, and the urgent call of our disconnected souls seeking home in nature.
