๐ Homeschool Prom 2024 โ A Night to Remember! ๐
Who: High School Students and Guests (9th-12th) Every student needs a ticket to enter.
The prom is open to homeschool students in grades 9-12 only. To clarify the 9th grade age requirements, students and their guests must be 14 yrs old. Guests do not need to be homeschooled. Some exceptions will be made for those who may have dates that have graduated last year but must be no older than 19 years of age.
Professional Photo Options: TBD -
DJ and Music: TBD
We plan to keep the music clean. Songs will be avoided if they contain adult language/swear words, drug phrases, or any additional inappropriate content.
Snacks, Appetizers and Unlimited Soda/Lemonade. No outside food or beverages allowed.
There will be door prizes, 9 square and a photo booth.
Chaperones - We plan to have plenty of parent chaperones!
Check-In/Out:
Once checked in, attendees are not allowed to leave the venue and return back. This also means no walking out to vehicles, so make sure you have everything you need at check in. If you choose to leave Prom early for any reason, you will not be allowed back in.
Code of Conduct:
Chaperones reserve the right to remove and send home any attendee if his/her attire, speech, and/or behavior is deemed inappropriate. This includes public display of affection, lap sitting, etc. Parents will be notified. No alcohol, cigarettes, vaping, drugs, or weapons. Chaperones reserve the right to check bags. The safety of security of any items cannot be guaranteed. We highly suggest prom attendees leave all unnecessary items at home.
Dance:
Proper dance behavior is required. No provocative, sexual movements, or dirty dancing will be allowed. We want the prom to be an enjoyable and safe evening for all of our students and their guests. We expect the students and their guests to demonstrate good behavior throughout the evening. Any student choosing not to do so may be asked to leave.
Dress Code:
Guys:
Encouraged Professional attire
-Suit (jacket with matching dress slacks) or
-Tux
Ladies:
Modest prom dress or formal attire
-No extremely low cut or high-split dresses
-No SHORT-SHORT dresses
-No Sheer fabric that reveals body parts
-Backdrop dresses should not extend below the waist line
-Any plunging neckline needs to have fabric sewn in
