Note for this location: Free Splash Pad Days are from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. If anyone would like to continue socializing after the splash pad has closed, we will be adjourning to Riverside Park to keep summer park days free for all.
Join the CHALK Homeschool Co-op as we gather to embrace the warm weather! These park days are designed to be a place for both children and parents to land—a time for unstructured play, shared stories, and the simple joy of being outdoors together.

Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (CDT) 🌡️
Where: We will rotate through local Quad Cities parks to explore new landscapes! Location will be posted for each date.

✨ What to Expect
Unplugged Play & Connection: A low-pressure way for kids to meet other homeschool kids and just be themselves. It's also a chance for us parents to connect in the great outdoors. 🍃
Newcomers Welcome: If you’re just starting to look into homeschooling or are in your very first year, please come say hi! This is a zero-judgment zone to see how other families make it work and realize you don't have to do this journey alone.
Pick Our Brains: Have burning questions about curriculum, local resources? This is a great time to pick apart some experienced homeschool brains and get the real-world answers you need while the kids play. 🤝
🎒 What to Bring
To keep things comfortable in the summer heat, we recommend:
Refillable water bottles (stay hydrated!) 💧
Sun protection and picnic blankets.
A snack to share (optional).
Note: As we navigate the weather ahead, we will keep an eye on the forecast. If the temperature climbs too high or inclement weather occurs, we’ll post updates here regarding cancellations or relocations.
