Thank you all for the positive feedback on the Homeschool Metalworking Syllabus idea 🙏🙏🔥⚒🔨!

Inspired by the few that have reached directly out to me has helped me see a clearer way forward....A Homeschool open house Field trip!!!!

I'll put together about an hour long demonstration where you can see 3 or 4 projects that the students can complete.  Then I'll be taking out a majority of the instructions and explanations so we can spend the remainder of the second hour to have a  Q and A session and give the parents and students an opportunity to get their hands on some of the equipment/tools. I'm thinking I'll offer it 5 times in a day (9-11,11-1,1-3,3-5 and 6-7). It will be a repeat performance so participants can come at anytime and stay for the part they missed if they are arriving between times.

What to expect:

The demos will be for units 1,2 and 3. 

Unit 1} Intro to Nonferrous material: Coin Ring Build

Unit 2) Intro to Ferrous Material: Blacksmith

Unit 3) Intro to Ferrous Material: welding and fabrication

Break for Q and A, discuss suggestions and ideas for a syllabus. Schedule private experiences during pilot testing phase!

Final closing scene : Playtime in the forge!! If  you've demonstrated you have been attentive, you are welcome to try out any of the demo's you have watched.

*I'll offer this on a weekday as well as a weekend day to try and fit into everyones schedule.

I'm thinking the tickets will look something like this:

**Tickets for single sessions or all day passes. Come for one of the 2 hour sessions or Come when you can, stay as long as you like! ( you can change your mind and pay for an upgrade on the day as well)

1) Single observer, Single session obseve and discuss only...$35

2) Single observe and participate. Watch the demos and give it a try!...$50

3) Two person Observe and discuss only, single session... $65/couple (could be 2 guardians, 1 guardian and 1 student,or any combination of 2 people, single session).

4) Two person Observe and participate..$75

5) 4 person Group discount: Tcket observe and discuss 4 people...$100/foresome

6) 4 person Group discount: Observe and participate.. $175
