Discover the plants that helped sustain ancient communities in eastern North America! In this hands-on program, students will explore the Eastern Agricultural Complex, a group of native plants that people were growing thousands of years ago. Participants will learn how archaeologists know these crops were cultivated, investigate the foods that could be made from them, and plant a few of their own seeds to take home and grow.This program is geared toward students 5–12 years of age; younger students are welcome to attend but will not be able to participate in the activity without one-on-one aid from a parent or guardian.

💲 Cost: $8 per learner (Parents and Adults Free)
