Calling all homeschool families! Enrich your child’s education at Arthurdale Heritage, with hands-on activities focused on history & heritage, arts & crafts, and more! Each month this fall, we are offering Homeschool Days. Students are invited to learn about the unique history of Arthurdale and Appalachia. In November, we will hunt for clues in our museum exhibits, weave a potholder, and do-si-do with a square dance in Center Hall. Schedule:
10:30-11:00am: Check In at Center Hall
11:10-12:05pm: Session 1
12:15-12:55pm: Lunch in Center Hall
1:00-1:50pm: Session 2
2:00-2:50pm: Session 3
3:00-3:15pm: Check out & student evaluation

Weave a Potholder
Square Dancing
This program is intended for students in K-5 through 6th grade, although older students are permitted. Students will be divided into three groups based on age, rotating between stations throughout the day.
The cost is $15 for members of Arthurdale Heritage, $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is required.
All materials are included except lunch. Please send a packed lunch with your child.
