Historic Annapolis welcomes Homeschool families to join us in the beautiful 2-acre Paca Garden for a day of hands-on learning! Students will explore the Garden and learn about its history – from its original design in the 1760s to its current restoration. They will learn about native and heirloom plants while exploring the terraced landscape’s formal parterres, naturalistic wilderness, and practical kitchen garden. Students will also examine healing plants in our medicinal garden. Students will record observations and create a botany study to take home.
Advance registration required at annapolis.org/events/homeschoolday-fall2024. This program is suitable for students of all ages.
Cost: $10 per Student (5-17); Free for one Adult Chaperone per student group; Additional Adults $10 per person
Two sessions are available:
Elementary Students at 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Middle/High School Students at 1 pm - 3 pm
