About this Event
A Community Sound Bath will be held in the Blue Heron Center on September 30th conducted by the Mystic Yogini, Chevon Wright, who runs the Friends' yoga program at Quiet Waters. A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, ocean instruments, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and others. Bring any pillows or blankets you want to help relax and dress comfortably; prepared for a unique experience of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Come support, bring a friend or purchase a ticket for another in need.
Location: Blue Heron Center, located near the Visitors Center in the park
This practice is for everyone and all are encouraged to attend. Please bring your mat, any props you wish to use and water.
In the event of inclement weather, an email will be sent out the evening prior with an invite to use the pass on an upcoming rescheduled date.
Please consider securing a yearly park pass for a savings of $6 each visit to the park. If you'd like alternate payment arrangements or have any questions, please email Chevon at [email protected].
About your Guide:
Since 2009, Chevon has developed a deep reverence for her spiritual practice of yoga and meditation. She has instructed and guided corporate, group and private clients online and in person since 2019. Chevon is the owner of The Mystic Yogini LLC, where she provides holistic services to include yoga, spiritual counseling, intuitive readings and sound therapy. It is Chevon’s soul purpose to spread the important messages of mental health awareness, diversity, culture and body positivity in the Annapolis area and beyond. She serves as an active member in her community and truly enjoys offering spiritually sustainable practices for all. In her down time, Chevon loves connecting with family and friends, nurturing her craft, reading, and exploring nature.
