Homeschool Day programs offer students the opportunity to engage with one of Atlanta’s most historic landmarks through interactive hands-on activities based on a different theme each month. Programs are age-appropriate and educational activities correspond to Georgia Performance Standards.
Homeschool Day: Black History Month focuses on the rich history and culture of African American communities in Atlanta particularly through Oakland Cemetery and its connections to the legacy of Black history culture and art in the city.
The day is a blend of history creativity and environmental awareness all centered around the vibrant history of African American culture in Atlanta.
Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8 for members.
