Have you ever wondered how crimes in Lake County are solved? Did you know that Lake County is one of the handful of counties in the State of Ohio that has its very own crime lab? Founded in 1973 with a staff of just two (2) scientists, the laboratory now employs fourteen (14) people and has evolved into an internationally accredited facility utilizing state-of-the-art technology to analyze over 1300 cases per year. A tour of the facility will give you a behind the scenes look at the laboratory, the types of testing that takes place and how the laboratory helps keep members of Lake County safe.We will meet in the parking lot of the facility at:
