Join us at Homeschool Art Club in Term 2! Here young people can enjoy experimentation and explore how to create artworks by themselves and in collaboration with others.
Each week, students explore and discuss a new artwork, artist or technique, then complete a fun artmaking activity led by one of our gallery educators. In term 2, the program will be linked to the current Gallery exhibit HOME: A Place We Call.
Over the 8 week term, students will gain confidence in understanding artworks and skills to explore their creativity in a friendly, art making environment.
The program is linked to the Stage 4 NSW Visual Arts syllabus. Students studying Stage 3 (years 5 & 6) or Stage 5 (years 9 & 10) are also welcome.
$50 Service NSW Active and Creative Kids Vouchers accepted.

Terms and conditions:
· An adult must remain within the Gallery space if participants are under the age of 10. All participants must be signed in by a guardian at the beginning of the workshop and signed out at the end of the workshop.
· Do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.
· SMILE! Your attendance at events supported by Hawkesbury City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers.By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
· If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the programme.
Cancellation/refund polices:
· To receive a full refund (minus an admin fee), please cancel your ticket or notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled event. If less notice is given, a refund will not be issued.
· Refunds will not be given if participants change their mind, or simply forget to attend the event. For exceptional circumstances, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the Gallery & Museum Coordinator.
· A refund can take up to 7 working days to process after the event date (due to bank transfer times). Cash payment refunds can take up to 6 weeks to process.
