Homeownership Orientation How to apply for the homeownership program and requirements to apply for homeownership program.
About this Event

Interested in homeownership? This in-person orientation will go over Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola's Homeownership Program, including the features of our new, energy-efficient homes, the requirements to qualify, how to complete an application, and what to expect on your homeownership journey.

**Attending a Homeownership Program Orientation is required before you can apply for the program.**

You'll also learn about our free certified housing counseling that can help you become qualified to purchase a home through our program or on the open market.

Requirements include:

  • Be able to afford a Monthly Mortgage. Our future homeowners need a middle credit score of 630. They also need to have a total household income that falls within our income guidelines according to the number of people in the family. This ensures that your mortgage stays affordable for you. If credit report is locked, please make sure credit report is unlocked before completing homeownership application.

Please note: To apply for our homeownership program, there is a $50 nonrefundable application fee. Please note: This event is for adults 18 years or older. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED

  • Check in starts 30 minutes prior and doors close 10 minutes after event start time.
