Millville Community Market is proud to be a part of World Food Day, an international effort to address food insecurity and malnutrition by providing universal access to nutritional food. On this World Food Day (16 October 2022) think about taking a direct action to de-centralize the food system and learn how to make pectin, a water-soluble fiber, using apples. In this workshop led by Obiora Embry, a Lexington-based Home Chef, Fermenter, Food Grower, Photographer, and more, he will teach you how to make pectin for usage in your homemade jams and jellies.
