About this Event

Our movement has achieved two big electoral wins to stand up social housing -- what comes next? At this moment, when the Trump regime is gutting critical federal housing programs, we fight back by creating new ways to provide housing stability -- ensuring social housing is implemented in Seattle quickly, and expanding our reach to Washingtonians beyond Seattle.

Since the Prop 1A victory, HON has continued to strengthen our cross-community coalitions and community partnerships, bringing education to jurisdictions outside of Seattle to seed interest in social housing throughout Washington. But we need your help to continue this work, build a sustainable organization, and accelerate our impact.

We are excited to launch our with our Homegrown celebration! Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to advancing social housing in Seattle, featuring a dynamic lineup of homegrown entertainment and opportunities to connect with fellow advocates.

Learn about how becoming a Social Housing Activator member through recurring giving creates a sustainable organizing model and creates a community that continues to build skills and knowledge. Plus some really exciting member only perks! Read more about the program and join early to score our exclusive Homegrown-themed swag while supplies last.

We will provide delicious light bites (including vegan and gluten-free options) and beverages, with alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Enjoy entertainment featuring local musical and comedic talent; such as Abyssinian Creole (Gabriel Teodros and Khingz) and more to be announced soon! Tickets are free but registration is required for entry! All ages welcome.
