Join us for a fun family concert highlighting ragtime era music with Lenawee County origins! You'll hear music of Harry L. Alford, who was America's leading arranger of popular music at the turn of the twentieth century. After growing up in Lenawee County, Alford left for Chicago and arranged over 30,000 songs for the greatest entertainers of the day. We'll also play music of Adrian's J. R. Shannon, and Fred Moreland, who also had hit tunes of the era. Come out and hear a world class ragtime orchestra right in your own back yard. Kids are free!
