About this Event
The laughter is coming to Ithaca when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at Brewer's Kitchen and Taproom on Thursday, March 26. Chris Plumer is headlining the show and Alex Brady is joining host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 6:30 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. It's a completely free show. Just tip the staff well.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Alex Brady is a comedian from Buffalo, N.Y. He’s a regular performer at Helium Comedy Club in Buffalo and appears on shows throughout Western New York and beyond. Brady lives with two cats and writes brief, generic bios about himself in his spare time.
Chris Plumer’s hilarious takes on his mundane existence will make you forget that on a long enough timeline, we’re all just basically oil. Buffalo’s Funniest Comic in 2019, Plumer works regularly at the Helium Comedy Club and opens for Chris Porter and Rich Vos. He proves the old adage that laughter is the best placebo to hold us over until the ocean takes us. If you gotta go, go laughing!
