https://archives.delaware.gov/events/home-is-where-the-archive-is/Family letters, photos, and home videos are often a treasured piece of family history, connecting generations of today to generations of the past.
Join us for a presentation and discussion with a few Delaware Public Archives Processing Archivists to learn more about caring for these items. Materials that will be discussed include paper documents, books, VHS tapes, audio cassettes, CD/DVDs, digital media, and 19th- and 20th-century photographs. The presentation will provide information about common causes of deterioration, as well as tips for storing and handling these materials.
Presented by Katie Bacu, Steven D’Avria, and Lindsay Townsend.
