Free Prostate Screenings on Oct. 4Bayhealth is committed to helping community members stay at the forefront of their health by providing complimentary screenings. The Bayhealth Cancer Institute is providing free prostate screenings on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bayhealth Radiation Oncology, Kent Campus, 640 S. State St., Dover.
No referral or insurance required.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers and the second-leading cause of cancer deaths among Delawarean men. The American Cancer Society recommends annual screenings beginning at age 50. High-risk groups are recommended to begin preventative screenings at age 40.
Screenings are by appointment only. Call the Bayhealth Cancer Institute at 302-744-6098 by Wednesday, Oct. 1 to schedule.
