Unwrap the joy of a furry friend and make your home merrier! ✨Join us on Friday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ? Brougher Companion Animal Shelter located at 3159 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
‼️ READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING ‼️
? We will have cats of all ages available for adoption – from kittens to seniors!
? Please complete a general cat adoption application HERE -> https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/YORK/Cat at least THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE of the event to allow our staff to have ample time to review it and pre-approve you.
? All adoptions will be $25 off the adoption fee. Any cat that is considered a “long-term feline resident” (in our care for over three months) will have a WAIVED adoption fee.
? BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) is encouraged, however, we will have premade cardboard carriers if needed!
? Other family members of the household are preferred to attend as well, but this is not a requirement. This is to help the cat have a slow introduction to all family members and familiarize themselves to see if it is a good fit.
? If you are interested in more than one cat, please have a list of your TOP 3-4 CATS in mind so our staff can better assist you. You will be able to browse the cattery to see our available cats!
? Once you enter the shelter, we will have staff and volunteers there to assist you with check-in and directing you through the cattery in order to arrange a meet with the cat(s) you would like to see. **Please note when viewing available cats on our website whether they are located at the York County SPCA or one of our satellite locations (Petco & PetSmart).**
? Cashless payments ONLY (for purchasing bloodwork, collars, etc.).
