About this Event
Holyrood Park is the Koh-i-Noor in the crown jewels of Edinburgh's stunning landscape. Comprising 650 acres of mixed grassland and encompassing Arthur's Seat, the iconic Salisbury Crags as well as some of the oldest exposed rocks in Edinburgh this is a vital island for wildlife in the heart of our majestic capital.
On this visit we will be planting wildflowers to enhance the biodiversity of the grassland in the park.
We encourage volunteers to use our minibus for transport. If you live near this task and wish to make your own way you must ring Debbie on 07510959496 to book a space and for joining instructions.
Please bring your lunch and wear appropriate footwear (boots or wellingtons) and waterproof outdoor clothing.
NEW VOLUNTEERS Please only book one task initially. If you do not attend without letting us know, we may cancel any additional task bookings. If you are under 18 you will need to be accompanied by a guardian. Please contact us to discuss arrangements for volunteering with us, or whether other organisations might be more appropriate.
