On this most solemn night, we gather in the stillness of Good Friday—where the shadow of the cross looms large and love is poured out in its fullest measure.
We hear again the Passion according to John, where Jesus, though betrayed, beaten, and condemned, reveals a power not of this world: the power of self-giving love. Standing with Mary, John, and the disciples at the foot of the cross, we enter the story not only as witnesses, but as participants in God’s great act of redemption.
Through ancient prayers, quiet reflection, and the adoration of the cross, we acknowledge the weight of suffering and the depth of grace. The cross, once a symbol of shame, becomes for us the tree of life.
We leave in silence, hearts heavy with grief, yet steady with hope—trusting in the promise that death will not have the final word.
