Welcome to Holy Week at Cornerstone Bible Church! Everyone is invited to join us. All of our Easter events will be held at the Sedona Elks Lodge, 110 Airport Road in West Sedona.We begin with Palm Sunday, April 13th featuring a “Procession of the Palms”. There will be joyous music, and a celebratory atmosphere which will focus us in on “God’s Promise of the Cross” centering our hearts toward “Holy Week”. Starts at 9:30am.
Maundy Thursday
Holy Week continues with Maundy Thursday on April 17th beginning at 5:30PM. Our “Feast of Friends” begins the evening with a light potluck style dinner around the cross in the theme of the Last Supper followed by a Service of preparation and a remembrance of that first Holy Communion in the Upper Room. We will also experience the Stations of the Cross remembrance immediately after communion in observance of Good Friday. Christ’s Passion is one of the most powerful services of the year to remember and reflect on the “Passion of Christ”. We will walk with Jesus through the final hours of His earthly life. You do not want to miss this service as we prepare for His glorious and incredible resurrection on Easter Sunday!
Easter
Easter—Resurrection Sunday is on April 20th, 2025. We will begin the day with a Sunrise Service @ 6:30am on the patio of the Sedona Elks Lodge. Come and watch the sun rise on this glorious morning in God’s creation as we worship outdoors. You are also invited to join us for our 9:30am Traditional Service of Resurrection. Both of our Easter worship services will include a celebration of Holy Communion.
After each Easter service, stay for a time of fellowship. Breakfast will be served with hot coffee and morning treats.
