Holy Thursday is the day before Good Friday and marks the night when Jesus shared a special meal with his closest followers, known as the Last Supper. At this meal, he washed their feet to show love and humility, and he introduced what we now call Communion, inviting his followers to remember him through bread and wine. It was also the night he was betrayed and arrested.
