Good Friday is the day when Christians remember the suffering and death of Jesus. After being arrested, he was put on trial, beaten, and sentenced to die on a cross, a painful punishment used at the time. Even though he had done nothing wrong, he willingly went through it because of his love for others. It was a dark and painful day for his followers, who thought all hope was lost. Many churches, including United Methodist churches, hold quiet and reflective services on Good Friday, reading the story, singing hymns, and remembering the depth of Jesus' sacrifice.Join us for Good Friday Worship on April 18 at 7 pm, and learn more about Holy Week at https://www.tmumc.org/easter.
