This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. You will be able to teach this class online or in person. Those who take the class will be able to use the Karuna symbols in their Reiki sessions and teach the complete Holy Fire® III Online Karuna Reiki® Training. You will also be able to teach Reiki I&II Reiki Master as Holy Fire® III classes Online or in person. It is complete with eight practitioner symbols one master symbol four ignitions and two meditations that are guided directly by the Holy Fire® energy.
The Karuna symbols have a higher vibration. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While their specific purposes are discussed in class the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.
Both levels 1 and 2 of Karuna Reiki®, as well as instructor training and practice using all nine symbols, will be provided. After taking this class you will be able to teach all levels of Reiki.
Significant practice time is included for administering treatments and using the symbols.
Karuna is a Sanskrit term used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated as "any action taken to alleviate the suffering of others" and can also be translated as "compassionate action." When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. Buddhist literature also states that Karuna must be accompanied by prajna, or wisdom, to achieve the desired effect.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings, also known as the Brothers and Sisters of the Light, who work to end suffering on Earth. They continually send unlimited healing energy and guidance to us, but not everyone is receptive. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by the supreme being. Thus, your healing is quickened as well. Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with the supreme being.
To qualify to take this class, a student must have been a Reiki Master for at least 6 months and be able to draw the Reiki II and master symbols from memory. Prior classes need to have been in person. However, online training for Reiki II and Reiki Master is acceptable for qualification, provided it is conducted with a teacher whose lineage is connected to the ICRT. At the time of registration, you are required to send in a copy of your Reiki Master certificate.
