First Friday Vibes
A Monthly Ritual of Rest and Reset
First Friday Vibes is a monthly offering designed to help you pause, exhale, and come home to yourself.
Each First Friday, we gather to slow the pace, tend to the nervous system, and explore how rest and attention can support regulation and well-being. We create space for integration through rest-focused practices such as Yoga Nidra, restorative yoga, hot stones, meditation, and gentle somatic movement.
This month's theme is, Just Being.
February often brings a lot of noise about who we should be, how we should feel, or what we should give.
This First Friday offers something simpler.
Just Being is an invitation to slow down and rest without trying to change anything.
No fixing.
No striving.
No expectation to arrive in a certain state.
This evening is about settling into presence as it already is.
What becomes possible when nothing else is required of you?
Through rest-focused practices and gentle guidance, we create space to soften the body, quiet the mind, and spend time simply being with yourself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This session will be centered around heart centred meditation and guided rest, with gentle settling practices to support you in arriving fully.
You can expect:
- A calm, welcoming arrival
- Gentle grounding and orientation
- Learn how gently placing attention at the heart sends signals of calm
- Guided Heart-Centred meditation
- Extended rest with hot stones (Yoga Nidra inspired or long savasana)
- Time for integration and quiet reflection
The emphasis is on resting the body and mind, not effort or performance.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This offering is for you if:
- You’re feeling disconnected, tender, or depleted
- You want a softer way of relating to yourself
- You’re curious about meditation that feels embodied and accessible
- You’re seeking rest that supports emotional and nervous-system balance
All levels welcome. No prior meditation or yoga experience needed.
WHAT TO BRING
- Comfortable clothing (layers encouraged)
- a yoga mat
- A water bottle
- Anything that helps you feel cozy
Props are provided and a limited number of yoga mats are available.
Come as you are. Rest your attention. Just be.
