Everyone is welcome to join us for our later service of Holy Communion on Sunday for this 5th Sunday of Lent.Over these past weeks we’ve been following Jesus on his journey to Jerusalem and to the cross of Good Friday. In our Bible reading today we reach the day before, the day that we know as Maundy Thursday, as Jesus directs his disciples to prepare for a special meal – the last meal that Jesus will eat with his friends and followers around him.
We’ll be thinking about the preparations that had to be made and why they were so significant, as we look at the Passover and its place in the life of God’s people.
Our 10.30am service will include the Sunday Club for children, any children visiting today are welcome to join the group. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the church centre, please do stay if you can.
