On First Friday, November 7, join us for the launch of Flux Hawaii’s fall/winter 2025 issue at Native Books Hawaiʻi in Chinatown, Honolulu from 6:30 to 9 p.m.With a special screening of this new series, adapted from from film scholar Delia Malia Caparoso Konzett’s study “Hollywood’s Hawai’i: Race, Nation, and War” • Followed by a panel discussion featuring Emerson Goo, Ashley Maha’a, Brandon Maka’awa’awa, and Dean Saranillio.
