About this Event
In this 2-hour online Holiday watercolor and collage class we’ll start with a foundation of watercolor skills including water control, color mixing, and key techniques. Rusty will guide you with gentle encouragement and a relaxed atmosphere. You are encouraged to ask questions. Learning is a process and should not be stressful.
You will receive the image of the painting ahead of the scheduled class. We will sketch the subject together during class. I strongly encourage to have your paper no larger than an 8 x 10. Larger paintings often require more than the two hour class time and I cannot delay the class to repeat instruction..
Supplies are simple but enjoy what watercolor supplies that you have. My supply list is basically 140lb Arches cold press watercolor paper, #4 round watercolor brush, a spray bottle to mist paints and paper, masking tape, water cup, paper towel, glue, scissors, and watercolor paint. A hair blow dryer to dry paper.
