Join us to kick-off the holiday season during our Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration! This year, we invite families into the library at 6:00 pm for a special holiday storytime, and then we’ll gather outside at 7:00 pm for our annual tree lighting. Keep warm with outdoor games like giant Jenga from our Library of Things, or grab a hot drink and donut holes. After the tree has been lit, join us inside the library for a concert by The Madrigals.Schedule of Events:
4:00 pm - Movie Showing of Elf starring Will Ferrell
5:00 pm - Meet Your Favorite Holiday Characters: The Grinch, Elf on the Shelf, and Ruby the Frog from WBGU-PBS
5:30 pm - Ugly Sweater Contest
6:00 pm - Special Holiday Storytime & Craft in The Children’s Place
7:00 pm - Gather in the library’s front lawn for the Tree Lighting (Light up wristbands will be available while supplies last. Outdoor games, hot drinks, and donut holes will be provided.)
7:15 pm - The Madrigals perform in the Library Atrium
