About this Event
Participants will learn how to make our hyperrealistic winter themed candle! All participants will leave at the end of class with a FULLY DRIED CANDLE, ready to take home! No need to pick up at a later date! Some scent options include Winter Wonderland, Marshmallow Fluff, Cinnamon, and other wintery scents! And participants will also be able to decorate their candles with mold shapes of varying snowflakes, yuletide, and gingerbread to complete the look!!
Included in your ticket price is your first drink.
Our instructors will walk you through the process of picking your own vessels and scent! You’ll then be able to pour your wax and pick your decoration pieces while we wait for your candles to dry enough to decorate. After the decoration process is complete, we will seal your designs with a final layer of wax and you’re ready to take your candle home!

At Pup Country Candles we breathe new life into discarded materials by using recycled wax and wicks from events here in Charleston, South Carolina- one of the largest wedding destinations in the world. In teaming up with local vendors, we are able to repurpose these discarded materials, thereby reducing waste in our community.
In addition to her love of candle making and reimagining materials, Pup Country Candles founder, Amanda Pena, also boasts a love for dogs and dog training. With a master’s in education and certifications in animal behavior, Pena has been training dogs for over 10 years. As a behavioral consulPena has seen firsthand the need for resources and equipment in her community- particularly in a post-pandemic society in which many dogs have gone without the proper socialization needed for a healthy lifestyle.
