About this Event
Holiday Neurodivergent Art Market – Empowering Artists on the Autism Spectrum
Kick off the holiday season with a heartwarming event that celebrates the creativity and talents of neurodivergent artists and musicians in our community. Hosted by Scattered in partnership with the CIUSSS and local programs supporting individuals with cognitive disabilities, this festive Holiday Art Market offers unique, handcrafted holiday items that make perfect gifts with a meaningful impact.
Holiday Market Highlights:
- Festive Art for a Cause: Discover an array of holiday-themed creations, from hand-painted ornaments and greeting cards to gift bags and seasonal decor. Each purchase supports the programs helping these talented neurodivergent artists thrive, as all proceeds go directly back to the organizations that provided the artwork.
- Live Holiday Performances by Neurodivergent Musicians: Enjoy a joyful holiday atmosphere with live music performed by neurodivergent musicians throughout the event. Their performances will fill the market with festive tunes and add a special, heartwarming touch to the holiday spirit.
- Program Showcases and Community Collaboration: Each booth will feature artwork from different local programs, along with information on the initiatives that empower these artists year-round. We’ll announce the participating programs as the event approaches, giving you a preview of the dedicated organizations bringing this market to life.
- Holiday Bakesale & Gift Giving: In addition to purchasing art, attendees can make donations that will go toward purchasing holiday gifts for individuals in mental health hospitals, to be delivered on Christmas morning. This extra layer of giving spreads even more cheer during the season of giving.
Come celebrate the holidays by supporting neurodivergent artists, enjoying live holiday music, and finding beautiful, one-of-a-kind gifts that give back. Embrace the spirit of inclusivity, creativity, and community this holiday season—we can’t wait to see you there!
