Imagine the excitement as young artists create and frame their very own watercolor masterpiece!In this class, students will explore simple watercolor techniques—drawing their picture, painting with washes, experimenting with crayon resists, and sprinkling salt to add texture and magic. Each child will receive guidance in choosing a subject to paint while enjoying the freedom and fluidity that make watercolor such a joyful medium.
The goal is to complete a beautifully framed artwork—perfect for holiday gift giving—and, if time allows, a small set of handmade note cards too!
COST $25/child
SKILL LEVEL All levels welcome. Appropriate for kids ages 5 - 8 years old.
SUPPLIES All supplies provided.
